The Ass in Lion’s Skin
An ass, having put on a Lion‘s skin, roamed about in the forest and laughed by frightening all the foolish animals he met in his wanderings. He was having a lot of fun. At last coming upon a Fox, he tried to frighten him as well, but the Fox no sooner heard the sound of his voice that he exclaimed,
“I might possibly have been frightened by your looks by myself, if I had not heard your bray. Closed me disguise a fool but his words will give him a way“
