Power Test
The sun and the wind challenged each other to see which of the two was so powerful so as to make the first passer – by take off his clothes.
First, the wind took its turn and blew with all its might. The more it blew the more the traveler held his clothes tightly around his body to save himself from cold.
Then, came the sun’s turn. All it did was to shine. Gradually, the traveler grew warmer and warmer. And ultimately it became so unbearably hot that the traveler had to throw away almost all his clothing. Thus the sun proved his power and registered its victory over the wind.
Gentle persuasion is more effective than hard sermons.
