Babu Agha

Babu Agha, fl. 16th cent., Mughal lady. Wife of Shihab-ud-Din Ahmad Khan, the son-in-law of Emperor Akbar’s nurse, Maham Anaga, she was also related to the emperor’s mother Hamida Banu Begum. She was noted to be a very pious woman, and is referred to as Mama Agha by Abu’l Faz1.
