Oduva Tirumalamba
Oduva Tirumalamba, fl. 1529-42, poet. She was employed at the court of Vijayanagar, and later became a queen of Achyutaraya (d. 1542). She was a scholar of literature and philosophy, and was an accomplished linguist. She wrote many poetical works, including the Sanskrit romance, Varadmbika-parinaya-champu.
