Henry V

Henry V (1387-1422). King of England. He succeeded his father, Henry IV of England, in 1413. He went to France to claim the French throne and secured a decisive victory over the French at Agincourt (1415). Following his marriage to Catherine of Valois he was recognized as heir to the French throne by her father, Charles VI, but died of dysentery two years later.
