Anna Modayil Mani
Anna Modayil Mani, 1918- , scientist. Born in Kerala, at Peermed, she became a meteorologist at the Meteorological Office, Poona, in 1948, and Director, Instruments since 1960. She is a fellow of Indian Academy of Sciences, Indian Meteorological Society, and of various foreign and international meteorological and geophysical societies; and is also the author of many research papers in her subject.
