Amina Begum
Amina Begum, d. 1757, Princess of Bengal. Daughter of Nawab, Alivardi Khan (d. 1756) of Bengal, she was married to his youngest nephew, Zainuddin, and became the mother of Siraj-ud-daulah. After the death of her son, following the battle of Plassey, she and hi; aunt, Ghasiti Begum, were put on a boat and drowned in the river Buri Ganga in July 1757, by the agents of Mir Jafar.
