Bhagirathi Bai
Bhagirathi Bai, 1799, Mahratha princess. One of the three widows of Mahadji Sindhia (d. 1794) she along with the others was involved in bitter war with his successor, Daulat Rao Sindhia in 1798, over their proper maintenance, and treatment. The war temporarily ended in August 1799, when Daulat Rao agreed to their demands. It was renewed in January 1800, but Bhagirathi Bai had died on 15 August 1799.
