Brian Lara
Brian Lara, (1969- ). West Indian cricketer. A left-handed batsman, Lara made an immediate impact on Test cricket on his debut in 1991 with his carefree fast-scoring style. In 1994 he achieved the highest-ever Test score with 375 against England, following this a few weeks later with 501 not out for Warwickshire against Durham, the highest-ever first-class score.
