Peter Sellers
Peter Sellers, (1925-80). British film actor. He established his reputation as a comic actor on the popular radio programme, The Goon Show. His best films have given him scope to display his talent for mimicry and satire. They include I’m All Right, Jack (1959), Dr Strangelove (1964), What’s New, Pussycat? (1965), and Being There (1979). He also played the accident-prone Inspector Clouseau in Blake Edwards’s series of Pink Panther films.
