When was the hamburger invented?
As the name suggests, Hamburg in Germany gave its name to this cake of minced meat cooked on a grill or a hot plate. From Germany the hamburger went to America and became famous. Hamburger came back to Europe along with American “French Fries”. Hamburgers are eaten with ketchup, a tomato sauce spiced in a number of different ways.
