Why do aircrafts have to be pressurised?

The density of the atmosphere at the ground is such that it is easy to breathe but as we go up, the air become thinner with loss of oxygen. It thus becomes difficult to breathe at great heights without assistance because the pressure of the air is very less. Also, a   person’s blood would boil and his body would explode without atmospheric pressure. That is why pressurised.
