“Why is black ink used in printing?” Important Questions and Answers for Class 9, Class 10, Class 11 and Class 12

Why is black ink used in printing?

Black ink is used for printing because it generates maximum contrast against a white or light coloured paper. It is also used to distinguish handwritten matter from the printed matter. This is why all the newspapers are printed in black on white paper, except the cover page in some newspapers. In this book also,  the main text has been printed in black colour.
